Here are a couple of the backgrounds used in the animation. Some backgrounds were drawn in pencil, scanned and coloured in Photoshop. Others were drawn in flash then exported to Photoshop and finally textured with Painter. Eventually I realised that for myself, at least it was quicker to make a very rough mock up in flash and get the colours right there before going into the detail.
